Biography
Joe Schlemeier is an associate in Weil’s Private Equity practice and is based in Boston. Joe participates in the representation of private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies with respect to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Joe has been part of the teams advising:
- Advent International in its acquisition of Sauer Brands, Inc., and Cobham Group Limited in its approximately $1.9 billion sale of CAES Systems Holdings LLC to Honeywell International Inc.
- CVC Growth Funds in its sale of a significant minority stake in VelocityEHS
- PSG in its acquisition of Loopback, L.L.C.; and its portfolio company mPulse Mobile, Inc. in its acquisitions of Decision Point Healthcare Solutions LLC and HealthTrio, LLC
Joe received his J.D. from Boston College Law School and his BSBA, summa cum laude, from the University of Missouri.
