Biography

Matt has served on Weil teams representing clients in some of the most high-profile matters in the country. He is part of the Weil team advising Steward Health Care System LLC as it navigates labor challenges during its Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Matt has also worked on Weil teams advising Home Depot on its $18 billion acquisition of SRS Distribution Inc., a private equity-backed distributor of roofing and building supplies, as well as Cedar Fair, L.P. in its $8 billion merger with Six Flags Entertainment Corporation.
Matt also has a committed pro bono practice, including work for the Innocence Project, the Public Art Fund, the School of American Ballet, and the Museum of Jewish Heritage.
He received his J.D. from Emory University School of Law. While in law school, Matt served as a Judicial Intern to The Honorable J. P. Boulee for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. He earned his B.S. in International Relations and Affairs from George Washington University.
