Biography
Max is a Corporate associate in London. He advises private equity funds and major corporates on a range of transactions, including acquisitions and disposals, reorganisations and general corporate advisory matters.
Prior to joining Weil, Max worked for a leading Australian law firm in Melbourne.
Representative experience as part of a team, including prior to joining Weil, includes acting for:
- 7-Eleven Australia on its sale to 7-Eleven International via competitive sale process.
- Macquarie Group on the sale of The Envest Group to Ardonagh Group and on the merger of The Envest Group with Ardonagh Australia (including Resilium Insurance Broking Group).
- The Envest Group in respect of:
- an equity investment by Macquarie Group; and
- the proposed acquisition of PSC Insurance by Ardonagh Group and subsequent division of business divisions between The Envest Group and Ardonagh Group.
- Australia and New Zealand Banking Group on its acquisition of Suncorp Bank from Suncorp Group.
- Cobham (a portfolio company of Advent) on the restructure and sale of Cobham Aviation and contemporaneous sales of Cobham’s regional services division to Rex Airlines and special missions division to Leidos.
- Navis Capital on its acquisition of Caring Group.
- Tanarra Capital on its sale of INX Software to Accel-KKR.
- PMY Group, in relation to:
- its acquisition of TechMedia Digital Systems; and
- equity investment by Bluestone Capital.
