Biography

Megha Sorot
Megha is an associate in Weil’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice in the Washington, D.C. office.

As a summer associate at Weil, Megha served as a diversity fellow and remains an active participant in the firm’s diversity recruiting efforts. She is also a current member of the Young Alumni Leadership Council, Northwestern Pritzker School of Law.

Prior to joining Weil, she served as a Judicial Extern for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and as a Legal Intern for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. Megha graduated cum laude, from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where she served as Articles Editor for the Northwestern University Law Review and as a Student Attorney for the Roderick & Solange MacArthur Justice Center. During her first year of law school, Megha was a member of Phi Delta Phi, and a co-founder of the South Asian Law Students Association. Megha earned her Bachelor’s degree in Government and International Politics from George Mason University, where she earned the Distinguished Senior Leader Award and was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society.

Megha is fluent in Hindi.
