Milana Bretgoltz
Milana Bretgoltz is an associate in Weil’s Securities Litigation practice based in New York. She focuses on defending securities class actions, shareholder derivative actions, and transaction-related litigation in a variety of industries.

Milana received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law where she was a Mary Daly Scholar, staff member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal, and a member of the Fordham Law Moot Court. Upon graduation, she was inducted into the Order of the Coif and received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award. During law school, Milana served as a Judicial Intern to the Hon. John G. Koeltl of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and as a Judicial Intern to the Hon. Katharine H. Parker of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She is an active member of the New York City Bar Association and serves on the Rule of Law Task Force and the Securities Litigation Committee.

Milana received her B.A. in Political Science and Middle East Studies, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Fordham College at Rose Hill. She is fluent in Russian.
