Nuna Van Belle

Nuna Van Belle is an associate in the Antitrust team.

Nuna represents clients before the European Commission, EU Member States’ competition authorities, and the EU Courts.  She advises on all aspects of EU competition law, including merger control, restrictive practices, abuse of dominance, and general counselling and compliance.  Her expertise encompasses a wide range of industries, including technology, defence, media and entertainment, healthcare data, and pharmaceuticals.

Prior to joining Weil, Nuna was an associate in the Brussels office of an international law firm.

Representative experience includes acting for:*

  • Broadcom on its proposed USD 69 billion acquisition of VMware before the European Commission, winning Phase 2 approval
  • Google in relation to Digital Markets Act compliance
  • Google on various investigations before the European Commission and other national competition authorities, and on regulatory compliance programs including in the CMA’s Privacy Sandbox investigation
  • Alliance for Open Media (AOMedia) in relation to the European Commission’s review of AOMedia’s royalty-free licensing policy – the European Commission closed its investigation without further action
  • HP Enterprise and HP Inc. in various transactions and matters
  • IQVIA on various antitrust matters
  • Several leading pharmaceutical companies in respect of their multi-jurisdictional distribution systems
  • The Walt Disney Company in connection with various EU and Belgian antitrust matters
  • Whirlpool on the sale of its major domestic appliances business in the EU
