Biography
Rashi Punia is a Patent Litigation associate in Weil’s Silicon Valley office. Her practice covers all aspects of patent law, including cases in district courts, and as well as proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).
Rashi’s litigation experience includes formulating invalidity positions and contentions, managing discovery, and drafting pre-trial motions and briefs. Her casework has spanned a variety of technologies, including biotechnology, medical devices, and consumer electronics. She focuses her pro bono work on post-conviction relief and representing women in need of domestic violence assistance.
Prior to joining Weil, Rashi worked at a top-tier intellectual property firm in India, and also clerked for Justice Vipin Sanghi of the High Court of Delhi.
Rashi earned her LL.M. in Law, Science and Technology from Stanford University and her LL.B. from the Army Institute of Law in India. She has co-authored several articles for various publications.
