Wenny Shen is an associate in Weil’s Banking & Finance practice and is based in Silicon Valley. Wenny participates in advising borrowers, private equity sponsors, banks and other financial institutions in a variety of financing transactions, including first and second lien credit facilities, middle market and large cap financings, cross-border and domestic acquisition financings and debt restructuring transactions.
Wenny has been part of the teams advising:
- Marcone Group, Inc. (a portfolio company of Genstar Capital) in its $1.3 billion term loan facility and its $250 million ABL revolving facility
- Montagu Private Equity and its portfolio company Miraclon in connection with super senior revolving facilities
Prior to joining Weil, Wenny was an associate at another international law firm.
Wenny received her J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she served as Staff Editor & Submission Committee Member for the Journal of Law & Business and was the recipient of the Joseph R. Damico and Dean’s scholarships. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Mount Holyoke College.
Wenny is fluent in Mandarin.
