Biography
Veronica Craig is an associate in Weil’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice, where she focuses on litigating complex commercial, antitrust, class action, and restructuring disputes in state and federal courts around the country.
Veronica also maintains an active pro bono practice, and has been a member of Weil teams representing pro bono clients in immigration matters, domestic violence resentencing actions, and other civil rights-related actions.
Veronica’s recent experience includes serving on Weil teams representing:
- A meal delivery platform in a purported antitrust class action alleging that defendants use their dominant market positions to force restaurants to charge elevated prices to all of their customers through the use of certain contract restrictions between defendants and the restaurants that utilize their platforms.
- A Fortune 100 social media company in a federal bench trial relating to proposed acquisition of virtual reality studio.
- A publicly traded apparel company in a class action alleging greenwashing and violations of consumer protection statutes.
- A national media company in a dispute regarding statutory license royalty payments.
- A global digital payment technology company in civil litigation alleging RICO and TVPRA violations related to the electronic payments industry.
- A leading public technology company in a class action regarding allegations of gift card fraud.
Veronica received her J.D. from the Howard University School of Law, where she served as Senior Notes & Comments Editor for the Howard Law Journal, and received a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin. She interned at the D.C. Court of Appeals with the Hon. Phyllis D. Thompson, and prior to her law career, worked as a teacher in Chicago Public Schools.
