Biography
Zack Hawkins is an associate in Weil’s Private Equity practice and is based in New York. Zack participates in the representation of private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies with respect to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Zack has been part of the teams advising:
- Blackstone in its investment in Allied Benefit Systems, LLC
- Goldman Sachs in its pending sale of Marcus Invest’s digital investing account business to Betterment LLC
- HighPost Capital, along with Charlesbank Capital Partners, in its investment in Front Row Group
- Hilco Brands, LLC in a joint venture with TPG Angelo Gordon to identify, acquire and finance consumer brands and related IP in partnership with Bluestar Alliance, LLC and in the acquisition of the bebe and Brookstone brands from bebe stores, inc.
Zack received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a member of the Business Law Scholars program. He received his B.A. from Dartmouth College.
