Biography
Cassandra Xia is an associate in Weil’s Private Funds practice and is based in New York. Cassandra participates in the representation of private investment fund sponsors in the formation, structuring and negotiation of their investment funds.
Cassandra received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where she was Associate Editor of the Fordham Dispute Resolution Society and a semifinalist in the William Hughes Mulligan Memorial Moot Court Competition. While in law school, she served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Andrea Masley, New York State Supreme Court, Commercial Division. She received her M.A. from Columbia University and her B.A. from Barnard College, Columbia University after graduating with Departmental Honors and serving as a member of Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society.
