Annemargaret Connolly, Head of Weil’s Regulatory Transactions Group and its Environmental practice, has been honored for her service to the DC Appleseed Center For Law and Justice.

The center recognized Annemargaret for the years she has dedicated to working with the organization, including serving as the Chair of its Board of Directors from 2020 to 2023. Annemargaret’s tenure as board chair included not only operating during the pandemic, but leading the search for the organization’s first new executive director in 20 years.

The DC Appleseed Center for Law and Justice seeks to improve life in Washington, D.C. through “litigation, teamwork, and advocacy” in areas such as policy, public works projects, health care and education.

Annemargaret and other significant contributors to the center were honored at a ceremony on March 13 titled, “Securing DC Appleseed,” which served as a fundraiser for the Appleseed Center, in Washington, D.C. The event also celebrated the 30-year anniversary of DC Appleseed’s founding.
