Weil is advising Newlight Partners LP on the sale of Lit Fibre, a vertically integrated alt-net comprising a network builder and internet service provider with a current footprint of over 200,000 premises across more than 20 towns, to CityFibre, the U.K.’s largest independent full-fibre platform. The share-based acquisition will see Newlight Partners become a minority shareholder in CityFibre, and is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2024.

The Weil team is led by Murray Cox, with Tristan Goodfellow, Mark Spiller and Dumani Headley. The team also included Oliver Walker and Enda Kerin.
