Alexandra Zaytseva is an associate in the Antitrust team and her expertise includes advising clients on all aspects of EU competition law, including merger control, restrictive practices, market dominance, and general counselling and compliance.
Alexandra’s experience encompasses a broad range of industries, including semiconductors, software, offshore & marine, travel, and domestic appliances.
Prior to joining Weil, Alexandra was an associate in the Brussels office of an international law firm.

- Booking.com on its appeal of the European Commission’s decision to prohibit Booking’s acquisition of eTraveli to the EU General Court
- Whirlpool on the sale of its major domestic appliances business in Europe, securing unconditional Phase 1 approval
- Broadcom on its acquisition of VMware, winning conditional Phase 2 approval
- Google on an investigation by the German Federal Cartel Office
- Temasek, Sembcorp Marine, and Keppel O&M on a $6.29 billion merger of Sembcorp Marine with Keppel Corp’s offshore and marine unit
- NVIDIA on its then-proposed $40 billion acquisition of Arm
- Google on the European Commission investigation into data-related practices
