Biography
Madeleine Carpenter is an associate in Weil’s Private Equity practice and is based in Dallas. Madeleine participates in the representation of private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies with respect to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Madeleine has been part of the teams advising:
- Blue Star Innovation Partners, along with institutional co-investors, in its acquisition of eMinor Inc.
- Kainos Capital LP and Evriholder Products, LLC in its acquisitions of Axe Holdings, LLC and Home Sweet Home Holdings, Inc.
- PSG and Netsurion LLC in the sale of substantially all of the remaining assets to Lumifi Cyber, Inc.; and Trade School Software in its acquisition of Verity IQ, LLC ,777ABC, LLC and Campus Ivy LLC
Prior to joining Weil, Madeleine served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Julia Smith Gibbons of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Madeleine received her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School where she graduated Order of the Coif, served as Editor-in-Chief of the Vanderbilt Law Review and was a recipient of the Scholastic Excellence Award for Torts. She received her B.A., summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Mississippi.
