Phong Bui is an associate in Weil’s Banking & Finance practice and is based in New York. Phong participates in advising borrowers, private equity sponsors, banks and other financial institutions in a variety of financing transactions, including first and second lien credit facilities, middle market and large cap financings, cross-border and domestic acquisition financings, and debt restructuring transactions.
Phong has been part of the teams advising:
- American Securities in senior secured revolving and term facilities to finance its acquisition of Swinerton's Solar and Renewable Energy division (collectively n/k/a SOLV Energy LLC)
- Antares Capital, as agent, in $100 million senior secured term and revolving facilities for Resolute Industrial, LLC (a portfolio company of One Equity Partners)
- Antin Infrastructure Partners in $520 million first and second lien facilities to finance its acquisition of FirstLight Fiber
- Aspen Aerogels, Inc. in a $100 million senior secured term facility for Aspen Aerogels Georgia, LLC
- Blue Bird Corporation (a portfolio company of American Securities, LLC), in a $242 million senior secured term and revolving facility
- Ceridian HCM Holding Inc. (a publicly traded company backed by Thomas H. Lee Partners and Cannae Holdings, LLC) in $980 million senior secured IPO-related facilities to refinance existing indebtedness and an amended and extended $300 million senior secured revolving facility
- Citi, as administrative agent, in an amended, extended and upsized $1.9 billion and $1.5 billion asset-based revolving credit facility for Tenet Healthcare Corporation
- Dayforce, Inc. (f/k/a Ceridian HCM Holding Inc.) in a $1 billion senior secured term loan and revolving facility
- Definitive Healthcare, LLC (a portfolio company of Advent International), in its $350 million senior secured facilities to refinance existing indebtedness immediately following its initial public offering
- Steward Health Care System LLC in debtor-in-possession senior secured term loan facilities totaling $300 million to finance its chapter 11 cases
- Subsidiaries of Steward Health Care System LLC, as borrowers, under a bridge loan facility
- Tops Markets, LLC, in (i) a $140 million senior secured post-petition asset-based revolving credit facility and (ii) a $125 million senior secured post-petition term loan facility
- White Oak Commercial Finance, LLC (an affiliate of White Oak Global Advisors, LLC) in an amended and extended $625 million ABL facility
