Biography
Ryan is an associate in the Banking and Finance group in London.
Ryan advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies and lenders on a wide range of range of financings including fund financings, general lending and restructurings but specializes in advising on domestic and international leveraged and investment grade acquisition financings. Ryan has worked in London and South Africa, and was seconded to Citibank in 2023, where he worked on a number of complex financing transactions for their EMEA Loans & Leverage Finance team.
Prior to joining Weil, Ryan was an associate in the Debt Finance group at a leading international law firm.
Representative experience, as part of a team, includes:
- Blackstone on the financing of its acquisition of Sediver
- Advent International in its acquisition of SYSPRO Global Software
- General Atlantic on the financing for its acquisition of GRESB
