Biography
Tanya Jain is an associate in the Banking & Finance group in the London office of Weil.
Tanya has acted for private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, commercial banks, credit funds and other financial institutions on a broad range of multi-jurisdictional financings, debt restructurings and other complex transactions, with a particular focus on leveraged and acquisition finance transactions.
Prior to joining Weil, Tanya worked at a leading magic circle law firm in London, where she also spent six months on international secondment in Singapore.
Representative experience includes acting for:
- GSAM and OTPP on the financing for Ares portfolio company SLR Consulting
- CVC on the financing of its acquisition of a stake in the French Football league
- Advent International on the financing of its acquisitions of Caldic and Datatrans
- Bain Capital on the financing of its acquisition of Inetum SA
- Ardian on the financing of its acquisition of Biofarma Group
- A&M Capital Europe on the financing of its acquisitions of Carton Pack and Ayesa
- Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan on its financing of the OGF Group
- OMERS on its financing of Alexander Mann and the financing for the bolt-on acquisition of FlexAbility
