Weil has advised Ares on the provision of more than £1 billion of term loan facilities by Ares’ managed funds to support Pollen Street’s merger of the Markerstudy Group and Atlanta Group.

The combination will create a major new retail insurance brokerage platform.

The Weil team was led by Finance partner Alastair McVeigh, and included associates Tanya Jain, Dimeji Ademiju and Anthony Nwokenna.
