Tomasz Rodzoch
Tomasz Rodzoch is counsel in Weil’s London office and advises on private equity and mergers and acquisitions. He has, as part of a team, advised leading private equity funds and major corporates on a wide range of cross-border and domestic acquisitions, disposals, capital markets transactions and restructurings, as well as general corporate and commercial matters.

Tomasz has completed secondments to the legal team of Getty Images and to the corporate practice of our former Warsaw office.

Representative experience includes:

  • Advent International and its portfolio companies:
    • on the acquisition of a co-controlling stake in Planet Payment Group; the acquisition of Maxar Technologies; the sale of, and reinvestment in Aaeron; the acquisition of Datatrans; the takeover of Cobham plc; the sale of KMD; the take private of Brammer plc and the roll up acquisition of IPH to form Rubix;
    • on the IPOs of Advent-backed InPost, Equiniti and DFS
    • portfolio company Laird on its carve-out sale of its Connected Vehicle Solutions, Performance Materials, Antennas and Thermal Systems divisions
  • Bain Capital on its acquisition of Valeo Foods and a 60% stake in Kantar Media
  • Providence Equity on numerous European transactions, including on its acquisitions of Node4, Superstruct, The Ambassador Entertainment Group and NACE, and its disposals of Galileo Global Education, Globeducate and Study Group
  • CVC Capital Partners on its acquisition of RiverStone Europe from Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited
  • PAI on its acquisitions of HKA and Audiotonix
  • Froneri, with PAI, on the $4bn acquisition of Nestlé’s Ice Cream business in the US
  • Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board on its acquisition of Logoplaste and on its sale of Acorn Care & Education
  • PSP on its acquisition, alongside EQT, of Azelis
  • General Atlantic on its investments in Typeform, Funda and Ant
