Weil has advised Ceva Santé Animale on a €2.3 billion equivalent dual-tranche TLB, one of the largest syndicated loans in Europe in the last 12 months. The proceeds were used to refinance the Group’s existing senior facilities and to finance a distribution.
The Weil team in Paris was led by partners David Aknin (Corporate) and James Clarke (Finance), with partners Guillaume Bonnard (Corporate) and Edouard de Lamy (Tax) and associates Awen Carnot, Chloé Sellam and Guillaume Wulfowicz; with the assistance of High Yield partner Gilles Teerlinck and associate Pierre Brule in London and Banking & Finance partner Jackie Oveissi in New York.
JP Morgan acted as sole physical bookrunner for the dollar tranche and joint physical bookrunner alongside Barclays in the euro tranche. Credit Agricole, Natixis and Nomura acted as joint bookrunners for both tranches.
