Weil Advises Funds Managed by InfraRed Capital Partners in Connection with their Partnership with MEAG Relating to LiveOak Fiber

Weil has advised funds managed by InfraRed Capital Partners (“InfraRed”) in connection with a co-investment commitment by MEAG (the Asset Manager of Munich Reinsurance Company and its wholly owned direct and indirect subsidiaries) granted to LiveOak Fiber (“LiveOak”). LiveOak is majority-owned by InfraRed value-add strategies.

LiveOak is a fibre-to-the-premise developer focused on delivering high-speed broadband to underserved markets in the southeast region of the United States. This investment will further support the build out of LiveOak’s network in selected markets throughout the region.

The Weil team was led by Private Funds partners James Sargent and Jacci Volpe, and Private Equity partner Arnie Fridhandler, supported by, amongst others, Private Funds counsel Nick Roxburgh and associate Abdul Wahaab Din; private equity associates Joe Maurantonio and Stephen Gobes; and Tax partners Aron Joy and Jason Vollbracht.
