Biography
Alex Schnapp is an associate in Weil’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice and is based in New York. Alex participates in the representation of public and private companies in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Alex has been part of the teams advising:
- Glencore, CPP Investments and BC, as shareholders, in Viterra Ltd.’s approximately $18 billion business combination with Bunge Ltd.
- Iron Mountain Incorporated in its acquisition of Regency Technologies
- Mobileum, Inc., a leading global provider of telecom analytics and network solutions, in connection with its prepackaged chapter 11 cases with approximately $628 million in debt obligations and in its $160 million senior secured term loan facility
- Mudrick Capital and its portfolio company Catalina Marketing Corporation in its sale of NCSolutions to Circana
- Phoenix Services Topco LLC, a provider of steel mill services to leading, global steel producing companies in the U.S. and abroad, in connection with its chapter 11 cases
- Sanofi in its $2.9 billion acquisition of Provention Bio Inc. and its approximately $2.2 billion acquisition of Inhibrx, Inc.
Prior to joining Weil, Alex was a Corporate associate at another international law firm.
Alex received his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and his B.A. from Duke University.
