Gracy Wang
Gracy Wang is an associate in Weil’s Private Equity practice and is based in New York. Gracy participates in the representation of private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies with respect to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

Gracy has been part of the teams advising:

  • Advent International in the acquisition by its affiliate AI Beauty Holdings of bareMinerals, BUXOM and Laura Mercier (collectively, n/k/a Orveon)
  • American Securities in its acquisition of Conair Corporation
  • Ardian in its acquisition of a majority stake in Florida Food Products, Inc., in a transaction that valued Florida Food at more than $1 billion, and Florida Food Products, Inc. in its acquisition of Comax Manufacturing Corp.
  • Blackstone in its acquisition of Sustana Group and its investment in Hotwire Communications
  • Brookfield Asset Management in the separation of Brookfield Corporation and Brookfield Asset Management Ltd. and the listing of a 25% interest in Brookfield Asset Management Ltd, resulting in a standalone asset management business with a $50 billion market capitalization as of the separation date
  • CBAM in the sale of a portfolio of its assets to The Carlyle Group, in a transaction valued at approximately $800 million
  • CVC Growth Funds and Velocity EHS in the acquisition by Partners Group of a significant minority investment in VelocityEHS from CVC Growth Funds
  • Goldman Sachs in its acquisition of NextCapital Group, Inc. and in the sale of Restaurant Technologies
  • Harvest Hosts (a portfolio company of Stripes LLC) in its acquisition of On The Road Books Ltd. (d/b/a Brit Stops)
  • Lineage Logistics, LLC in its acquisition of Turvo Inc.
  • OMERS Private Equity in its acquisition of TurnPoint Services
  • PAI Partners in its acquisition of Alphia Inc.
  • Seven2 and its portfolio company Vitaprotech Group SAS in its pending acquisition of the physical security, access card, and identity reader operations and assets of Identiv, Inc.
  • Snow Phipps Group (n/k/a TruArc Partners) in its acquisition of Academy Fire Life Safety

Gracy received her J.D. and M.B.A. from New York University, where she served as Senior Article Editor for the Journal of Law and Business, and her B.A., cum laude, from Rice University, where she was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha.
