Biography
Sarah Smith is an associate in Weil’s Tax Department and is based in Dallas. Sarah participates in the representation of Firm clients with respect to the tax aspects of a wide range of corporate transactions.
Sarah has been part of the teams advising:
- Advent International in its acquisition of Sauer Brands, Inc.
- H.I.G. Capital in its take-private acquisition of Converge Technology Solutions Corp.
- PSG in the closing of PSG Sequel, a $2 billion continuation fund, and in its $150 million acquisition of Uscreen.TV, LLC
- Affiliated funds of PSG Equity in a continuation vehicle transaction whereby certain funds affiliated with PSG Equity transferred their interests in six separate assets to new funds managed by, and affiliated with, PSG Equity
Sarah receiver her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Arkansas School of Law and her LL.M from New York University School of Law. She received her B.A. from the University of Arkansas.
