Biography

Zhi Yang Tan is an associate in Weil’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice, where he focuses on consumer fraud, privacy, and other commercial disputes, including in the class action context, in state and federal courts nationwide.
Zhi Yang’s pro bono work includes representing families seeking conservatorship.
During law school, he externed for the Honorable Justice Jon B. Streeter on the California Court of Appeal, First District.
Zhi Yang received his J.D., cum laude, from Hastings College of Law where he served as a Senior Communications Editor for the Hastings Law Journal. He received his B.A., from the University of California, Berkeley.
