Biography
Carson Parks is an associate in Weil’s Private Equity practice and is based in Dallas. Carson participates in the representation of private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies with respect to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Carson has been part of the teams advising on the following matters:
- Adair Winery, Inc. in its $85 million acquisition of Swanson Vineyards, Sonoma Coast Vineyards, Cosentino, Cherry Pie and Bar Dog brands
- Goldman Sachs in its $440 million strategic investment in BrightNight
- PSG in its investment in Packback Inc.; its acquisitions of Element451, Inc. and Versatile Credit, Inc.; its acquisition, together with M33 Growth LLC, of Total Synergy Pty Ltd; its $800 million investment, alongside Golub Capital and others, in LogicMonitor Inc.; SchoolStatus, LLC in its acquisition of ClassTag Inc.; and Traliant Operating, LLC in its acquisition of Kantola Training Solutions
Carson received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School, where he received the Morgan and Helen Chu Prize, which is awarded to the two J.D. graduates with the highest grade point average in their final year, and served as Editor of the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy. He received his B.B.A., with highest honors, from the University of Texas at Austin.
